Who knows,it could still be lurking around down there. We now know that its cousins gave live birth,and it may have adapted too deeper and colder waters over the last 70 million years or so.
Unlikely that there are any of those monsters left. Keep in mind they were not fish. They have to come up for air, like whales. If they exist, they would have been seen.
Big food chain. . . . small world.

ReplyDeleteI agree, and also, a HUGE part is that they lay eggs on land, and it's pretty hard to miss a huge frickin marine lizard on a beach, digging a hole.
